TusStar (Malaysia) Penang Ecological Cooperation Inspection Tour
During this visit to Penang, the TusStar (Malaysia) team actively connected with key local institutions and industry platforms, centering on the core goal of “linking innovation ecosystems.”
As an ecosystem partner, TusStar (Malaysia) was invited to attend the AIM Asia CXO Forum Penang, hosted by Hashtaqs in Singapore. During the forum, Ms. Nicole Lyu, Deputy General Manager of TusStar (Malaysia), held a cordial exchange with YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, Second Deputy Chief Minister of Penang, and introduced TusStar Malaysia’s cooperation achievements and its vision as a technology bridge between China and Malaysia.
At the same time, the team visited Digital Penang, a Penang government agency, The Ship Campus, and the Southeast Asia Innovation Center of Saichuang Future, focusing on ecosystem collaboration, enterprise landing, youth entrepreneurship, and resource integration.During the visit to The Ship Campus, the team toured its teaching and incubation facilities and reached a preliminary intention to collaborate on jointly establishing a Student Entrepreneurship Center, as well as promoting China–Malaysia youth training and project incubation.
Looking ahead, TusStar Malaysia will continue to strengthen cooperation with local government agencies and innovation platforms in Penang, support the localized development of Chinese and Malaysian enterprises, and build a sustainable and efficient regional innovation collaboration network.
First stop
Invited to attend the AIM Asia Forum and meet with the Deputy Chief Minister of Penang

On July 17, 2025, TusStar (Malaysia) was invited to attend the AIM Asia CXO Forum Penang, hosted by Hashtaqs, as an ecological partner. The forum focused on the development of artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, and attracted senior government officials as well as representatives from leading regional enterprises.
During the forum, Ms. Nicole Lyu, Deputy General Manager of TusStar (Malaysia), held a cordial exchange with YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, Second Deputy Chief Minister of Penang, and the two took a group photo together. Ms. Lyu introduced the role of TusStar (Malaysia) as a bridge between China and Malaysia in technology and innovation, particularly in areas such as business matchmaking, local resource integration, and regional incubation collaboration.
Dialogue with the Chairman of AIM Asia to Strengthen Linkages Between Manufacturing and Innovation Ecosystems

The TusStar (Malaysia) team held an in-depth discussion with Ms. Renee Tan, Chairman of Advanced Innovation & Manufacturing Asia (AIM Asia), focusing on topics including the development of Asia’s manufacturing innovation ecosystem, overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises, exhibition collaboration, and international resource integration.
Both parties reached a strong consensus on jointly promoting enterprise participation, platform co-development, and regional ecosystem collaboration between China and Malaysia. They also expressed their expectation to leverage the Tus platform to connect more high-quality resources and innovation entities across the region.
Second stop
In-depth Engagement with Digital Penang on Regional Innovation Collaboration

On July 18, 2025, the TusStar (Malaysia) team was invited to visit Digital Penang Sdn. Bhd., a government agency under the Penang state government. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Lim Chong Sheng, Director of Ecosystem Development, and Ms. Hannis, Senior Executive.
Building on the strong foundation of earlier collaboration, both parties conducted in-depth discussions centered on Digital Penang’s three key strategic pillars:
Startup Ecosystem: Exploring support mechanisms and pathways for regional collaboration to foster startup growth;
SME Ecosystem: Exchanging insights on digital transformation opportunities and community engagement for SMEs;
Penang Digital Economy Summit: Discussing potential co-curation, forum linkage, and integrated resource collaboration.
Digital Penang welcomed the TusStar (Malaysia) team and extended congratulations to Mr. Wong Fei on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Ms. Nicole Lyu as Deputy General Manager. The two sides engaged in constructive exchanges on technology collaboration, market access, and enterprise linkage mechanisms, and jointly recognized the strong potential for deeper China–Malaysia digital ecosystem cooperation.
During the meeting, Digital Penang shared its plans to participate in the China International High-tech Fair (CHTF) to be held in Shenzhen in November 2025, with the intention of organizing five to six Malaysian companies to take part in exhibitions and business visits in China. As an ecosystem partner, TusStar (Malaysia) will actively support resource matchmaking and itinerary planning, facilitating connections between Penang enterprises and high-quality Chinese platforms and representative companies, while expanding international exposure and collaboration opportunities.
Both parties expressed their anticipation for deeper cooperation around CHTF and look forward to leveraging this opportunity to promote two-way engagement between Chinese and Malaysian technology enterprises—supporting both “going global” and “bringing in”—and further advancing the development of Penang’s digital economy ecosystem.
Third stop
Engaging with the Cruise Campus to Advance Youth Entrepreneurship Collaboration

On July 18, 2025, the TusStar (Malaysia) team was invited to visit The Ship Campus, the headquarters of Ship Academy in Penang. Founded by PKT Logistics Group, the campus is located within the 5-acre One Auto Hub in Batu Kawan and serves as a comprehensive platform integrating education, industry engagement, and incubation functions. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Yeoh Shaun Li, Deputy Chief Operating Officer.
During the visit, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including industry–education integration, startup incubation support, and international collaboration. Mr. Yeoh shared that The Ship Campus is actively preparing to launch a Student Entrepreneurship Hub, aiming to create a practice-oriented entrepreneurial environment for students through collaboration with external ecosystem partners.
Ms. Nicole Lyu, Deputy General Manager of TusStar (Malaysia), expressed strong support for the initiative and proposed exploring practical cooperation in areas such as talent exchange, China–Malaysia enterprise interaction, and joint innovation activities.
Following the discussion, the TusStar (Malaysia) team toured the campus’s teaching facilities, incubation spaces, and multifunctional exchange areas, gaining a comprehensive understanding of The Ship Campus’s strengths in educational infrastructure, entrepreneurial support systems, and space operations.
The fourth stop
Entering Saichuang Future and Linking with the Jinjiang (Malaysia) Offshore Innovation Center

On July 18, 2025, the TusStar (Malaysia) team was invited to visit the Jinjiang (Malaysia) Offshore Innovation Center, established by its partner Saichuang Future, to congratulate the center on its official launch and commencement of operations.
Ms. Nicole Lyu, Deputy General Manager of TusStar (Malaysia), and Mark Li, Project Manager of Saichuang Future, held in-depth discussions on key topics including China–Malaysia innovation resource coordination, enterprise landing support, and overseas project collaboration.
Both parties reached a preliminary consensus on exploring future cooperation in areas such as event co-organization, industrial park linkage, and the integration of university youth innovation resources. They also expressed a shared vision of leveraging the Innovation Center as a platform to further promote China–Malaysia technological exchange and advance the development of a collaborative innovation ecosystem.
This Penang visit not only strengthened TusStar Malaysia’s connections with local government bodies, innovation platforms, and industry partners, but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration in technological innovation, youth entrepreneurship, and the coordinated development of Chinese and Malaysian enterprises.
Looking ahead, TusStar Malaysia will continue to serve as a bridge for innovation, facilitating the two-way flow of resources between China and Malaysia and jointly building a more dynamic, sustainable, and regionally integrated innovation ecosystem.
