China-Malaysia Science and Technology Innovation Summit 2023 is Coming Soon!

In the 49 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, the two countries have always upheld the concept of open and inclusive cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win situation, and have been working together through thick and thin, and the bilateral relationship has continued to develop for the better and build a bridge of communication for friendly cooperation between two countries.

In order to promote the construction of the science and deep technology ecosystem between China and Malaysia to achieve common progress in the field of science and technology innovation, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia，Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia (MOSTI)，Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Union of Innovation China，Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology，Malaysia Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI), Shenzhen Science and Technology Exchange Service Centre，and TusStar jointly launched the China-Malaysia Science and Technology Innovation Summit and Pitching Crush Grand Finale. The summit is based on the Tus global technology innovation incubation network, and links well-known organisations, institutions and enterprises in the field of technology innovation in China and Malaysia to build and consolidate the technology innovation ecosystem in China and Malaysia.

【Science and Technology Light Up The Future】

China-Malaysia Science and Technology Innovation Summit consists of keynote speeches, roundtable forums, booth exhibition, final pitching crush. The government units, academicians and experts, industry leaders and famous venture investors from China and Malaysia in the field of science and technology innovation will be specially invited to attend the summit.

1. Focus on Integrated Development

China and Malaysia have reached a consensus on developing strategic cooperation and established comprehensive strategic partnership. The Belt and Road Initiative and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) have also promoted China-Malaysia

cooperation. Malaysia has also further strengthened the relationship between the two countries through its participation in the "Belt and Road" initiative, which has also boosted Malaysia's economic development and promoted connectivity between the states on the east and west coasts of Malaysia.

2. Highlights of the Events

The event will be held on 20 March 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Malaysia Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI) and Shenzhen Futian District Oriental Xintiandi Plaza simultaneously. The event will be mainly divided into two sessions. The morning session - China-Malaysia Science and Technology Innovation Summit will conduct booth exhibitions, signing ceremonies, and hold major events such as theme sharing and roundtable forums. The afternoon session - Pitching Crush Grand Finale will hold the final of top ten startup pitch of TusStar Malaysia in both Chinese and English. Meanwhile, Shenzhen sub-forum will simultaneously conduct Metaverse themed sharing and pitching crush.

3. Marvellous Booth Exhibition

On the event day, there will be 6 exhibition booths of sponsor companies (1 platinum sponsor and 5 gold sponsors) outside the hall. The booth will provide sponsors with a series of benefits such as VIPs engagement, investment and business matching opportunities, entrepreneurs product display, media exposure etc and build a sharing and communication platform for entrepreneurs, VIPs and guests.
