TusStar (Malaysia) will launch its monthly member-exclusive Pitching Crush Programme (Pitching Crush) on 27 January 2022. Pitching Crush provides a platform for founder's of innovation startups and SMEs to present their idea and business in front of investors or VCs. The goal of the startup’s pitches is to gain follow-on funding (additional capital) to continue growing their company and/or potential customers. The programme also aims to assist South East Asia startups and SMEs in seeking potential collaborative opportunities with potential partners and resources.
This monthly VC Pitching Crush is exclusively for TusStar eco members, and it will be periodically held on every 4th Thursday of the month. We will invite tech venture capitalists and investors who are experienced in VC and ECF for many years. It'll be a great opportunity for you to meet and pitch your innovative ideas to local and foreign investors.
Your application will go through the process of review and selection after registration. TusStar will only select 5 startups per month (Limited to 5 seats), Pitching Crush will also be conducted in English for starting month and Mandarin in the next month, and so on. You will be notified once your application is approved. Your pitching duration will be 12 minutes including 7 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of Q&A session.

His work includes multiple specialties, including Corporate Venture Capital, Natural Gas Midstream acquisition and development, Green Energy development, and IT and Communications Technology Development and Commercialization.
Andrew holds a BSc in Software Engineering with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Design from the University of Calgary, and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Allan Tan has 13 years of investment experience in capital market and financial products. In 2012, Allan started to be involved in angel investment and co-founded a lead investing firm focusing seed to series A startups. To date, Allan oversees a portfolio of over 30 companies from China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea and Malaysia. Investment portfolio includes a vast range of industries ranging from Green Tech, Fintech, Medtech, IOT and Frontier Tech like AI & Blockchain.
In 2021, Allan was appointed as Investment Committee for a Private Equity Firm. Besides that, he is also a Mentor at SAP (Selangor Accelerator Program) & Tusstar Malaysia. Lastly, he had been specially invited to be a judge for several well known SME competitions such as Alibaba Cloud Startup Contest, Selangor Accelerator Program and Global Entrepreneurship Network.
